One month, still no aid from agreement
It has been one month since the Sudan Government and SPLM-N signed a tripartite agreement with the African Union, the League of Arab States and the United Nations. The agreement states that within 2 weeks of signing, an assessment team will access the conflict zone to determine the needs of the affected populations. It is now over one month without any sign of an assessment team and no sign of humanitarian aid reaching the affected populations in South Kordofan and Blue Nile.
