6 Bombs Fall in Heiban Town, Wounding 6, Killing 1

At exactly 10:30am September 27, 2012 a Sudan Government plane dropped 6 bombs in Heiban town. The bombs wounded 6 civilians and killed a woman, Hassia Karri Kuku, leaving behind seven children, the youngest being 4 months old. Thursday is market day in Heiban and over 1,000 people come to the market every Thursday. This bombing happened at the exact hour that Sudan and South Sudan were signing an agreement to improve the relationship of the two countries.
