Bombs in Buram, Fama, Shat-Safia and Kadugli Kill Woman, Wound Civilians
According to an SPLM-N spokesman, on December 5, 2012 at 6:30pm a Sudan Air Force Antonov plane dropped 9 bombs in Buram town, causing fires which destroyed crops. On December 6, 2012 at 6:00 pm, a Sudan Air Force Antonov dropped 12 bombs in the village of Fama and Shat-Safia. One of the bombs landed on a house killing the owner, a 40 year old woman named Habiba Tia Tutu and wounding two other civilians, Kuwa Jugo and Towal. Earlier that day at 11:00am, the Sudan government dropped 17 bombs on the villages of Kufa, Lima and Miri Juwa in west Kadugli, wounding an 11 year old child.
