On March 7, an Antonov airplane circling over Buram County, South Kordofan dropped 8 bombs in the region. Nobody was hurt in the attack. The bombings started around 3:15 PM. The Antonov dropped 2 bombs in Angolo, destroying 1 house; 3 bombs in Toroji; 1 bomb in Tabanya, causing damage to the Tabanya Primary school and 1 bomb in Buram. A Nuba Reports journalist witnessed the bombing and physically confirmed the locations of the impact sites.

On October 27, 2012 at 10:30am, a Sudan government Antonov airplane traveling north to south dropped 4 bombs in Heiban town and 4 bombs in Kauda town. Only some livestock were killed in both bombings. No other deaths or injuries were reported.

On August 20, 2012 at 10:36am, Eyes and Ears Nuba reporters witnessed the bombing of Tabanya village, South Kordofan by a Sudan government Antonov plane. The plane circled the village twice, dropping 3 bombs on the first round and 3 bombs on the second round. The bombs damaged Aslo primary school but no one was injured as the school is out of session.

Two bombings took place on Sunday, August 12, 2012. The first bombing was the in village of Jegaba, South Kordofan. The second bombing was in the village of Tongoli, South Kordofan. In Tongoli, the bombing took place at approximately 10:00am. 17 bombs were dropped in and around Tongoli village by a single Sudan Government Antonov airplane. 2 people were injured in the bombing.

On June 18th, at approximately 9:00 am, an Antonov plane bombed Kauda town, dropping 2 bombs and wounding 2 civilians: 8-year-old girl named Najwa Jafar was wounded in the arm by a piece of shrapnel, and elementary school teacher Garang, 23 years old, sustained a head injury. Additionally, the homestead of Samia Jamal was destroyed, wiping out some of her remaining food stocks.

On June 17, a Sudanese Government Antonov airplane dropped 9 bombs on the Calcutta and Mendi villages, killing 2.

On June 17th at 11:00 am, an Antonov plane dropped 9 bombs on Kalcutta and Mendi villages. The bombing wounded 1 SPLA-N soldier named Hassen Geama, and killed a 17-year-old girl named Koni Kamal. Koni was farming with her father when the attack began; he told her to lie down but she started running. Koni's father watched as one of the bombs exploded, cutting his daughter in half.

On June 6th at 8:20 AM, an Antonov began bombing Buram County. 4 bombs hit Krongo, 2 Katcha, 4 Tess, 7 Buram town.

On June 6th at 8:20 AM, a Sudanese Antonov plane began bombing Buram County. The plane dropped 17 bombs in this order: 4 bombs hit Krongo village, 2 bombs hit Katcha village, 4 bombs hit Tess village, 7 bombs hit Buram town. 4 of the 17 bombs exploded in fields where farmers are trying to plant.
