On September 5, 2012 at 11:45am two Eyes and Ears Nuba Reporters witnessed an explosion south of the Kauda Valley in the Nuba Mountains. It was later confirmed by one of the reporters that a single 302mm Weishi Rocket was launched into the village of Kalcutta by the Sudan army. The rocket exploded in the farm of Ibrahim Jakase destroying some of his crops. The explosion also wounded the arm of a farmer, Amduwal Ahmed, age 40.
