Today marks 1 week of protests in the capital and other major towns in Sudan. Also today the Sudan Revolutionary Front issued a statement condoning protests and encouraging people from Southern Kordofan, Blue Nile, and Darfur to participate peacefully in the revolt.

On June 10, 1252 refugees arrived at Yida Refugee Camp, the highest number since the camp was established.

On June 10th, 1252 refugees arrived at the Yida Refugee camp from Southern Kordofan as a result of severe food shortages. This is the highest number of new arrivals since the camp was established.
